We are pleased to announce the release of MF-Tyre/MF-Swift V7.1, with more possibilities to run in Real-Time environments.
Real-Time capable implementation of the MF-Swift Rigid Ring
The MF-Swift Rigid Ring, representing the tyre dynamics up to ~100Hz, has been implemented in the Real-Time product. An advanced differential equation solver has been implemented which results in a guaranteed numerically stable integration of all tyre model differential equations.
Support of Concurrent iHawk
MF-Tyre/MF-Swift V7.1 supports running Real-Time simulations on Concurrent iHawk multiprocessing platforms powered by Concurrent’s RedHawk Linux RTOS. TASS International distributes this functionality with Matlab Simulink compatibility directly to its customers. In a later stage MF-Tyre/MF-Swift V7.1 software will also be made available on Concurrent hard- and software by other vehicle dynamic simulation packages.
Availability as an FMU
The product is now also delivered as a Functional Mockup Unit (FMU). MF-Tyre/MF-Swift functions as a co-simulation FMU following the FMI 1.0 standard and has Windows 32-bit and 64-bit compatibility.
MF-Tyre/MF-Swift 7.1 is currently available in Matlab Simulink, CarSim and as a FMU. Integration into IPG CarMaker and VI-Grade VI-CarRealTime is in the finalizing stages, MF-Tyre/MF-Swift V7.1 will be available within the next major release of both packages. More detailed information on these implementations will follow shortly.
